We were there!!!

The EPA Community Archive joined other local nonprofits and the City’s Community Services Department for the first East Palo Alto Family Day 2024 event. The event, held on Saturday, June 8 th at Bell Street Park, featured children’s activities and a showing of the movie Bob Marley: One Love. 

This event was designed to bring families and friends together to spend time with others in the community. Several agencies including Street Code, the Razorback Rugby team, Youth Community Service, and EPA Junior Giants were present to share information about their programs and offer enrollment opportunities for residents.

The Archive sees these opportunities as ways to connect the community with our work and to recruit individuals to share their stories of their experiences living or working in East Palo Alto.

We are looking forward to the next two events; Saturday, July 13 at Costaño School and Saturday, August 10 at University Circle. Each event will showcase activities for children and youth ending with music and a movie.
