Join us for the first annual MamaDee Day, a heartfelt tribute to beloved community matriarch Mama Dee, and a powerful celebration of Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander cultures. Hosted in the heart of East Palo Alto at Bell Street Park, Anamatangi, City of East Palo Alto, and YCS invite you to connect with the beauty, strength, and traditions of the Pacific Islands. The event will include cultural performances, interactive workshops, resource booths, Island cuisine, and local vendors.

Whether you’re rooted in the islands or simply curious to learn, this is a day to celebrate identity, community, and heritage. Stop by the EPACA booth and sign up to add your story to the EPA Community Archive. Bring your lawn chairs, your neighbors, and your open heart as we honor Mama Dee’s legacy and uplift the voices of the Pacific this Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
