Simplicity & Company is presenting the seventh Annual Summertime Shootout starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, at Costaño School. The event will feature an 8-team basketball tournament, free haircuts, back-to-school backpack giveaways, food and vendors. The event ends at 6:00 p.m. with the awarding of Trophies.

The East Palo Alto Community Archive is a sponsor for the Summertime Shootout and plans to interview some of the participants for the Archive.

The Archive sees these opportunities as ways to connect the community with our work and to recruit individuals to share their stories of their experiences living or working in East Palo Alto.
