The Community Heroes & Legends Project is more than a public art project.
It is a reflection of East Palo Alto, shaped by the people who live here, the stories
they carry, and the history that continues to define this community.

Hundreds of East Palo Alto residents shared their stories, dreams, memories,
and experiences to help shape this project. Those voices have become part of an
artwork created by artist Jessica Monette to recognize the people, places, culture,
and resilience that make East Palo Alto what it is today.

Now, we invite the community to come together for the citywide reveal.

Join us as we unveil the artwork and celebrate the history, spirit, and people of
East Palo Alto.

This is an opportunity to see how community voices have been
transformed into a lasting public artwork and to recognize the residents whose
experiences helped inspire it.
