The East Palo Alto Community Archive’s Culture Keepers Project is a youth-led program where participants learn how to document stories, conduct interviews, and produce digital media that highlights East Palo Alto’s rich cultural legacy. Designed to actively engage young people in documenting and expanding our archive collections, including oral histories and self-archiving efforts, the program positions youth, not just as learners, but as vital contributors to the preservation and narration of East Palo Alto’s unique story.
