Partner with us

Collaboration is at the heart of the East Palo Alto community. Together with our partners, we’ve built an internationally recognized repository of historical information about our city for current and future residents to learn from.

We are excited to collaborate with organizations that share our values and our vision and are grateful for our current partnerships, without which we would not have the archive. We are looking for the following kinds of partnerships:

  • Corporate sponsorships - companies that are interested in financially supporting the archive

  • Joint programming - organizations that we can co-organize events and other kinds of programming with

  • Fundraising - organizations or companies interested in helping us fundraise

  • Field advancement - other archives that would like to work with us to enrich the community archive field.

The Black Freedom Fund invests in the leaders and organizations at the center of Black communities, advancing people-led solutions to secure the future all people deserve.

The California Coastal Conservancy

The Coastal Conservancy is a State agency established to protect and improve natural lands and waterways, and help people access and enjoy the outdoors, along California’s coast and around San Francisco Bay.

The California Wellness Foundation

The mission of the California Wellness Foundation is to protect and improve the health and wellness of the people of California by increasing access to health care, quality education, good jobs, healthy environments and safe neighborhoods.

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative was founded in 2015 to help solve some of society’s toughest challenges — from eradicating disease and improving education, to addressing the needs of our local communities. Our mission is to build a more inclusive, just, and healthy future for everyone.

The City of East Palo Alto's overarching mission is to provide responsive, respectful, and efficient public services to enhance the quality of life and safety of its multi-cultural community.

County of San Mateo

The mission of the County of San Mateo is to promote the well-being of children, adults and families by providing effective services with compassion.

The Libra Foundation

The Libra Foundation funds organizations led by those most impacted by systemic oppression – largely communities of color that have experienced chronic underinvestment.

Meta Local Community Fund

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for non-profit programs serving East Palo Alto and the Belle Haven community of Menlo Park.

Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund

The Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund, a major annual program of the Embarcadero Media Foundation, is a three-month grass-roots campaign to raise funds for dozens of nonprofit organizations located on the Peninsula serving families and children.
